They come in many forms and size, from statue of Buddha to mall figures of wild-life animals. You will be witness of the whole production procedure, starting from making a day, shaping the item to drawing on and putting them in the oven.
Dong Ho paintings are well known for their uniqueness. They are painted only in Dong Ho village(45 km from Hanoi) on the special kind of paper which made from a special kind of tree(cay do). Villager use simply natural materials to make different colors for the paintings. Each painting express different folk stories or poems. Taking this trip to Dong Ho village, you will see how the paintings made and you may try to make a copy for you.
Van Phuc traditional Skill village that have been specializing in weaving different types of silks with old frameworks and semi- mechanical frameworks for dozens of centuries.
