TRANSVIETNAM ITINERARY FROM SOUTH TO NORTH

DAY 1 : HOCHIMINH CITY – ARRIVAL

Welcome on arrival at Tan Son Nhat International airport. Transfer to hotel. PM: Sight seeing around HoChiMinh City. Dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 2 : HOCHIMINH CITY TOUR - CUCHI TUNNELS

AM : Breakfast. Drive to visit CuChi underground tunnels - one of the most famous battle-fields during Vietnam War. Back to HoChiMinh City for lunch. PM : Visit War museum, Historical museum and see a water puppet show. Dinner on a floating restaurant on Saigon River.

DAY 3 : HOCHIMINH CITY - MEKONG DELTA

Breakfast. Full day cycle to MyTho (Mekong Delta) with boat sailing along Mekong River to visit Thai Son and Con Phung islet with many fruit gardens and peasants’ houses. Lunch at Trung Luong restaurant, a typical local Vietnamese restaurant. On the way back to HoChiMinh City, stop at China town to see Thien Hau Chinese temple. Night in HCMC.

DAY 4 : HOCHIMINH CITY - BAOLOC

Drive to Bao Loc town by passing La Nga bridge where you can see many floating houses. Go to see an area where local peoples work on sericulture. Check-in hotel. Lunch. Cycle to Dambri waterfall - the highest water fall in the highland - 30 km from BaoLoc. After visiting the waterfall, cycle back to Bao Loc for dinner at a local restaurant. Night in Bao Loc.

DAY 5 : BAOLOC - DALAT

Drive to Dalat flower city in the West Highland. Stop on the way to see Gougaph waterfall. Enjoy the mist and fresh air in Dalat mountainous city that is cool all year round. Cycle to Lat minority village (30 km). Enjoy Cong – Chieng festival ( a traditional music and dance show ) of the highland minority people in the evening.  Night in Dalat.

 

DAY 6 : DALAT - PHANRANG

Visit Valley of Love. Cycle to Phan Rang (100 km) via Ngoan Muc pass. On the way, we enjoy the whole scenery of Phan Rang's wet rice fields and the spectacular landscape of Ngoan Muc mountain pass with primeval forests along the road, visit Da Nhim Hydro-electricity Power Plant,  Poklong Krai Cham Tower.

 Picnic lunch en-route. Dinner and night at hotel in Ninh Chu Beach (Phan Rang province).

 

DAY 7 : PHANRANG – NHATRANG

Breakfast. Cycle to Nha Trang (125 km)- the most beautiful beach in the country with white sand and blue sea. To day we go on the southern part of high way north-south No.1  along the sea, through the orchards and rice fields with full of authentic sceneries of Vietnam countryside. Lunch at Cam Ranh. Relax and enjoy sunset at Nha Trang Beach. Overnight in Nha Trang.

 

DAY 8 : NHATRANG - TUYHOA

Breakfast. Visit Long Son Pagoda, Ponagar Cham towers and Chong rocks. Cycle to Tuy Hoa – a small town between Nha Trang and Quy Nhon - 123 km from NhaTrang. Lunch en route. Optional sea-bathing at Dai Lanh Beach. Dinner and night at hotel in Tuy Hoa.

DAY 9 : TUYHOA - QUYNHON

Cycle to Qui Nhon – a beautiful city laying in the coconut forests along the beaches - 127 km from Tuy Hoa. Picnic lunch en-route. Relax at Quy Nhon beach in the afternoon. Night at Qui Nhon city.

DAY 10 : QUYNHON – QUANGNGAI

Cycle to Sa Huynh (114 km), a beautiful beach of Quang Ngai province. Lunch at Sa Huynh. Drive to Quang Ngai town for check in hotel. Dinner and night in Quang Ngai.

DAY 11 : QUANGNGAI - HOIAN

Transfer to visit the infamous My Lai massacre in Vietnam war - 14 km from Quang Ngai town. Then cycle to Hoi An. Picnic lunch (or lunch at Tam Ky town ). Dinner at a local restaurant, night in Hoi An.

DAY 12 : HOIAN

 Visit Hoi An ancient Town- another World’s Heritage of a forgotten seaport from 17 th century well reserved until now. We visit a Chinese temple, Japanese bridge and an ancient house of mixing style from Vietnam, China and Japan. You can buy some small ancient ceramic gifts as souvenir here with surprising  price. Cycle to Cua Dai Beach (5 km). Sea-bathing. Dinner and night in Hoi An.

DAY 13 : HOIAN - DANANG - HUE

Cycle to visit China beach, Marble mountain and Cham museum in Da Nang. Cycle to Lang Co beach over imposing Hai Van pass - the most beautiful mountain pass in Vietnam - a part of Truong Son mountain range running down to the sea to cut in the high way. Drive to Hue, 60 km from Lang Co. Dinner and night in Hue.

DAY 14 : HUE CITY TOUR

Full day we visit the Old Capital, one of heritage of the world. Boat trip on Perfume River to visit handicraft village making conical hat and bronze casting. Visit Thien Mu Pagoda considered as Royal Pagoda of the Nguyen Dynasty. Visit Imperial Citadel, Dong Ba Market, Mausoleums of Tu Duc and Khai Dinh King. Dinner and night in Hue.

DAY 15 : HUE - HANOI

Visit a typical garden-house in Hue (Hue has another name as “city of garden”). Visit Dong Ba market. Transfer to Hue railway station for train S2 to HaNoi, depart at 16:20. Dinner and night on the train (soft berth air-con).

DAY 16 : HANOI CITY TOUR

The whole day we visit the peaceful capital decorated by tree lines along streets. Joint the stream of people to visit the Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh and his wooden house in a respect manner towards the greatest leader of the country. Visit the Van Mieu Temple ( Temple of Literature ) – The first university of Vietnam built in 11 th century. Get to learn Vietnam history and culture at Fine Art and historical museum. Go round the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake on a cyclo like a Lord to view the most exciting part of Hanoi. Night in Hanoi.

DAY 17 : HANOI – HALONG

Drive to Halong Bay. Enjoy the landscape along the way with rice and corn fields  and orchards of the Northeast Vietnam. Get on a boat to cruise on immense Halong Bay to enjoy charming islands with extraordinary shapes of animals, and visit Dau Go natural cave of beautiful stalactites and stalagmites – perhaps the most beautiful one within hundred caves in the bay. Stop to see a fishing floating house to bargain some fresh shrimps, crabs and fishes. Get in touch with fishermen‘s way of living and fishing.  Lunch on the boat with fresh seafood. Night in Halong.

DAY 18 : HALONG – HANOI

Transfer back to Hanoi. On the way, we see a handicraft enterprise producing the souvenir articles by handicapped peoples at Hai Duong town. Relax in the afternoon. We arrange farewell dinner with traditional music show at Hoan Kiem Lake. Night in Hanoi.

DAY 19 : HANOI - DEPARTURE

Shopping. Transfer to Noi Bai international airport for departure.
